Le Travail..../The Work

Je me suis dit que ce matin cela serait sympa d'évoquer le Travail.
Toutes les sociétés connues ont une force de travail reconnu, de l'esclave à l’artisan, et de nos jours: nos classifications en primaire, secondaire et tertiaire qui tendent à disparaitre vers encore d'autres nouvelles identifications....
I said to myself that this morning it would be nice to evoke the Work. All the known societies have a strength of recognized work, the slave to the craftsman, and nowadays: our classifications in primary sector, secondary sector and tertiary sector which tend to disappear towards still other new identifications...

Globalement on pense que l'Homme doit travailler; ce qui dans un principe de réalité n'est pas faux car le travail permet de se garantir un retour (en argent et/ou autres avantages) sur l'investissement physique et intellectuel que l'on a consenti. Mais est-ce que l'on peut dire que naturellement l'homme a besoin de travailler ?

Globally we think that the Man has to work; what in a principle of reality is not false because the work allows to protect itself with a return (in cash/or other advantages) on the physical and intellectual investment which we granted. But can we say that naturally the man needs to work?

On voit facilement des gens riches au travers de la presse "people" qui n'ont pas une activité que l'on peut classer dans le travail proprement dit; alors comment font-ils ? on voudrait d'ailleurs avoir leur place car ça paraît très simple la vie comme cela.

We see easily rich people through the press people who have no activity which we can classify in the work itself; then how they do ? We would moreover want to have their place because that seems very simple the life like that...

En fait, on constate que l'Homme a besoin d'activité. Ces activités vont garder en lui un équilibre psychologique car à travers elles, il va se sentir en lien avec le monde qui l'entoure au travers de valeurs telles que l’utilité ou la place sociale, la satisfaction de soi et par la création d'objets(preuve de son existence), l'effort et le dépassement de soi, etc...

In fact, we notice that the Man needs activity. These activities are going to keep in him a psychological balance because through them, it is going to feel in connection with the world which surrounds him, through values such as the utility or the social place, the self-satisfaction and by the creation of objects (proof of its existence), the effort and the self overtaking, etc.

Lorsque le Travail peut s'inscrire dans ce genre d'activités, il est un élément qui participe au "bonheur" de la personne. S'il ne s'y inscrit pas, c'est une perte de temps et d’énergies qui ne concoure qu'à permettre la survie.

When the Work can join this kind of activities, it is an element which participates in the "happiness" of the person. If it does not join it, it is the waste of time and energies that contributes only to allow the survival.

Notre travail s'articule le plus souvent dans l'entre-deux: il est à la fois une activité où nous allons trouver du plaisir et une forme de réalisation de soi; et aussi par d'autres aspects (la répétition, le stress, l'ambiance de travail, le besoin de changement, etc....), il va être une activité usante où nous allons attendre la fin avec empressement et finir dans la douleur le travail demandé.

Our work articulates most of the time in the meantime: it is at the same time an activity where we are going to find some pleasure and a shape of self-realization; and also by other aspects (the repetition, the stress, the working atmosphere, the need for change, etc.) it is going to be a tiring activity where we are going to wait for the end and to finish in the pain the wanted work.

De cette réflexion, il faut tirer deux choses importantes:
-que nos enfants soient le mieux aider (et pas guider) pour trouver le travail où ils se réaliseront le mieux possible. La réponse n'est jamais simple et il faut des fois consentir à une position de repli "alimentaire" malgré tout, en dernier ressort.
-Qu'un travail n'est jamais une fin en soi et que nous devons nous accorder la chance de trouver une autre occupation quand nous pensons cela nécessaire. Elle sera sûrement appelé "travail" mais même si elle ne signifie pas plus d'enrichissement financier, elle signifiera plus d'enrichissement personnel et plus de bonheur à la fin. Et l'aventure de ce changement vaut déjà par elle-même d'être vécu.

Of this reflection, it is necessary to pull two important things:
- whom our children have to be help in the best way (and not to be guide) to find the work where they will come true as good as possible. The answer is never simple and it is sometimes necessary to agree to a "food" fall-back position nevertheless, lastly ressort.
-A work is never an end in itself and that we have to agree the luck to find another activity when we think of it necessity. It will certainly be called "work" but even if it does not mean more financial enrichment, it will mean more personal enrichment and more happiness at the end. And the adventure of this change already values by itself to be lived.
